THC Derived from Hemp plants is the same exact THC molecule if it is derived from Marijuana plants. Even though the molecules are identical to one another the THC derived from Hemp are legal in most states if they are under 0.3% THC.
This may not sound like a lot but when you add 15 mg of THC to edibles such as a chocolate truffle the weight of the candy far outweighs the weight of the THC molecules allowing the THC percentage to be less than 0.3% THC.
